Anthony "Tony" Villella Memorial Scholarship Fund 

On behalf of the Villella and Berganski families, our warmest thanks go to the sponsors and individuals who so generously support the “The Anthony Villella Memorial Scholarship Fund of DeMatha Catholic High School” each year that passes.

To those of you who never had the privilege of meeting Tony, we want you to know a little bit about him, he was a caring, happy, and a loving young man. He was loved dearly by all of his family and his countless friends.  Because of his ever-present smile and willingness to reach out to anyone in need, he was never at a loss for friends. Tony graduated from DeMatha in 2005 and was a sophomore at Towson University until his untimely and unexpected death on February 10, 2007 at the age of 19.

This scholarship is awarded to a deserving student(s) who otherwise might not have had the opportunity to attend DeMatha.

Each year a student is selected and continues to receive the scholarship throughout their four (4) years at DeMatha, as long as they continue to participate with the Ice Hockey Program.

Your combined efforts continue to make it possible for us to keep Tony’s loving and giving spirit alive, through the "Anthony Villella Scholarship Fund."

We encourage the participants in the golf tournament to patronize the businesses advertised. Thanks again!
